On this guided tour of Teresina, we'll take you to uncover the secrets of the capital of Piauí and its most emblematic spots. You can't miss it!

Tour Details

Ready to get to know the capital of the Brazilian state of Piauí? In that case, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Teresina to immerse yourself in the city's charm and architecture. Each corner reveals so much history!

Firstly, we'll make our way to the Marco Zero de Tersina monument, the point where the city began to expand. Here, we'll begin to reveal how it became the first ever planned city in Brazil in 1852, when it was officially founded.

Next, we'll make our way to the Praça de Pedro II. Here we'll see the theatre 4 de Septiembre, a true symbol of Piauí culture. We'll stop to admire this spot, whose walls have hosted countless shows, ranging from theatre productions to musicals.

Next stop? The Church of Sao Benedito and Karnak Palace, which houses the state government headquarters. Here, we'll learn some anecdotes about its influence in Piauí culture. Afterwards, we'll make our way to the Parque Ambiental Encontro dos Rios, the point where the Parnaíba River joins the Poti River.

Later on, we'll head over to the Vila Poti Ceramics Centre, where we'll see hand-made, laborious traditional pieces. We'll then stroll through the Civic Centre of Teresina, where some of the most important administrative and judicial buildings can be found.

Lastly, we'll pass by the Ponte Estaiada Complex. This impressive structure not only fulfils a vital function, but also has a viewpoint that we'll visit to enjoy unparalleled scenic views of Teresina.

We'll then begin our journey back to your hotel and say our goodbyes after a total of 3 hours.
