Oslo Private Tour
Description
We’ll meet next to Oslo Central Station, specifically next to the famous tiger sculpture. From this central location, we’ll begin our private tour of the Norwegian capital, starting with its majestic Opera House. Modernity and avant-garde design come together in this building, located on the waterfront.
As we wander through the historic centre of Oslo, we'll reach the heart of the city, Karl Johans Gate Street. Along this avenue, we'll find the Oslo Cathedral, with its elegant baroque style, and the Norwegian Parliament, known as the Stortinget.
We'll make a brief stop at the end of this street to see the Royal Palace of Oslo, the residence of the Norwegian monarchs. After strolling through the gardens surrounding this 19th-century building, we'll continue to visit the Oslo City Hall, where the Nobel Peace Prize is awarded annually.
The private tour will end at Christiania Torv, the oldest square in Oslo. During the tour, we'll reveal the meaning of the iconic sculpture that presides over the square and return to the starting point.
