Bodegas Fundador Winery

Founded in 1730, the Bodegas Fundador winery is known to be one of the oldest wineries in Jerez. With this tour, you'll travel 150 years back in time to uncover the secrets of the first Spanish brandy.

During the tour, you'll go back to the origins of the Bodegas Fundador by visiting its famous facilities, such as El Molino, the founding winery. We'll also visit the Mezquita Winery, the Jardín de la Puerta Rota (Garden of the Broken Door), declared a Bien de Interés Cultural, and the Commemorative Museum, a site that honors the Fundador's anniversary.

Tour Options

During the booking process, you can choose between two options. Both take place in the Bodegas Fundador, include an English-speaking guide, and last 2 hours. Please read the following details for each option:

Tour + Tasting of 3 Wines & 1 Brandy

After exploring the winery, you'll enjoy a tasting of three wines from the Harveys range: Harveys Fino, Harveys Oloroso, and a blend of Harveys Bristol Cream. To complete the tasting, you'll enjoy the delicious flavor of a Brandy Fundador Sherry Cask, which you can savor by itself or mixed. You decide!

Tour + Tasting of 3 Fundador Supremo Brandies

If you choose this option, after the tour, you'll enjoy a tasting of three brandies from the Fundador Supremo range, a perfect tasting to discover the notes of Brandy Fundador, winner of many international prizes.
